I was just wondering where people are buying their fiberglass and resin. I got on selectproducts.com thinking they had good prices but after shipping the prices aren't that great. Anyone know where I should purchase my fiberglass of stick with where i have been getting it? thanks a lot.

Lowes, Home Depot, Auto Body Store & Boat Store. I have found some decent prices at the Boat stores in the past! Good Luck!

Tom what system of resin from uscomposite do you use? I can't remember right off hand what I'm familiar with from the parts store polyester or epoxy resin? Not to mention the conventional 1/2 gallon resin from the parts store has like an 8 oz tube of harner not a half gallon.

Polyester resin is the norm for the industry. And the more resin you buy at a time the cheaper it is.

Dude dont buy that shit from Home Depot or Lowes, you dont know how long it has been sitting on the shelf. Polyester Resin only has a 6 month shelf life. Buy a good quality resin from a composits retailer. A place I use here in Phoenix is Composits One or Sticky Stuff. Great price, they have everything you would ever need to do fiberglass work.
