on my old mazda i just welded so power balls to my control arms works just fine

this is how they are mounted now, is this safe or should i nvest in the powerballs? its been like this for about 5 years . the cylinder basically bolts to these mounting tabs on the outer right side of the control arm

In my opinion the power balls would be worth it. It would be a much smoother pivot point being greasable and all. This would also look a lot cleaner. Just cut off those tabs, plate the arm and weld the powerballs on and done. Some degreaser might go a long wat too! J.K.

not trying to sound like a dick but i think its time to replace your seals. if you hone out the cylinders the seals will last a ton longer. they make cylinders out of tubing and dont do too much smoothing inside them. honing help esp if your running accumulators.
