sbc v8 in 94 yota need pics

Hey guys I just bought a 350 chevy to put it in my 94 yota ext cab. It is bagged on 18s. I need some pics to get ideas on how to do this. Will i need to do anything to the oil pan? The only yota i can find like this has the fire wall notched out do i have to do that? I just need info on anything it takes to do this

You would have to notch the firewall a bit just because the distributor sits at the back. It probably wouldn't hurt to get a little better weight distribution moving the motor back a few inches.

you could use a sheetmetal notch and cut out underneath the cowl, so then just take off the cowl and the dist would come right out.

Why not just run a ford 302? I mean don't get me wrong i'm a die hard chevy fan but for ease of tune ups and all the ignition b/s you'd have to screw with a 302 would be a hell of a lot easier in my opinion. Has the front distributor mount. And just as common. Well almost as common as a chevy 350. Just a thought. Good luck.

I don't blame you for goen chevy. It's the only way to go in my opinion. Just thought if you could run a for v8 it would be a hell of a lot easier to work on. I just wouldn't want to unbolt the motor just to put a distributor in it or something like that. But either way good luck with it. Should hall balls when it's in there!
