is this a decent kit? it has everything i need, but i think when i got the kit for my dime i got autoloc, i never had a problem with my driver door, but somethimes the pass door would'nt pop (the solenoid would'nt pull). Let me know.

thanks, but i've always heard to get at least 40 or 50 lb solenoids, and the burb has heavy doors. Also, i'm getting an alarm, so i don't need the kit, just the solenoids and poppers (and probably the relays). thanks for the info, though.

What about the AVS ones? Either the Bolt-In or the Universals. A friend of mine just installed his bolt-in S-10 ones, and LOVES them. He said it was easy as hell to install, and has popped both doors smoothly everytime. (He already had an alarm, just bought the actuators).. from what I've read on tons of forums, everyone has good reviews. Definitely going to use them on my truck. Talk to Kris here on the forum, or give her or Jeff a call and see what they can do

Edit - after I posted I saw Kris had beat me to it! So anyways, I'm adding to the "Check AVS Out" reply she made..

the protocols tell you on the box and in the instructions.. you get absolutely NO warranty.. i had one shipped that the remotes were fucked, i had to fight and fight and fight autoloc to reprogram them.. they're made by autoloc but have no warranty.

you'll be fine with a 35lb noid kit..

AVS warranties theirs

i have installed the AVS one as well.. it is a really nice kit.. i ended up getting a SPAL kit and for 85 bucks shipped off of Ebay from Godfathers.. its been 100% reliable and a very good kit. As you can tell Jumbo, there are a few good kits out there, pick and choose as you want, you cant really go too wrong.

thanks, kris, found what i was looking for, i just wanted the solenoids and relays, $125's a little pricey, but i think worth it for the lifetime warranty. Also, i just got one of your 9 switch boxes with the built in relays, love it, i've not had any kind of problem at all out of it. Thanks for making good products over there.
