Need some brain power with some wheels.

I want these Billet Specialties wheels for the front of my Mazda that has 4x4 sheet metal and NOT body dropped. the wheels are 18x7 with a 4 in back space. This is the biggest backspace i can get. What will it take to make it fit?

Sup Frogg! With 2wd sheetmetal you'd be about 1.25 inches from tucking. Not sure how much extra clearance the 4wd sheetmetal will give you.

How stupid do you guys think it would be to shorten the a-arms about 1 inch?

I've seen it done before. Ask Russ about Wayne. He shortened his front suspension and can almost turn lock to lock while laying body.
