I have a 94 and a 2000 and I have gutted both interiors. They may look a lot alike but they are both different.
The 94 gauge cluster has different pins and has an analog mileage, the 2000 is digital (mileage) and the gauge layout is different on both models. The ac tubing and ac unit "box" is a different shape and has different connectors for the harness to the ac controls.
The 94 has a single row cruise control and the 98-01 has 2 rows of buttons on each side of the wheel which would mean a different harness and air bag. The 94 does not have a passenger side air bag and the 98-01 does. The 94-97 has a pull knob for the headlights and the 98-01 has a turn knob, the 94 is one harness the 98-01 has 2 harnesses for the headlights. I'm sure the fuse box is different also.
The only thing that is not the exact same in both years is the size of the cab, the foot pedals, door panels, headliner and sunvisors and rear storage units everything else is different. In the 98-01 they used a better weatherstripping that laps over the A and B pillars. The B pillars have a seat belt sliding track which relocates the seatbelt mounting point further into the cab making a new b pillar plastic piece that curvers out more with different mounting points to the 94-97. Sorry I'm getting off topic a little but there is more difference there than you realize. If you need OEM parts for your 94 cab or 2000 truck let me know I have both that I am parting out. If you need pics of either year just let me know and I can take some for you tomorrow.
