this is a long shot but did you replace the bulbs ???

check the wires, fuse...

i checked the fuse under the hood, its a ten amp and its still good. and do you think that one bulb can mess up all four and cause none of them to light up?

One light will not keep the other lights from working. Check the fuses in the fuse box on the interior also. It seems like it may be a wiring issue though so check your harness and where it plugs in under the bed. If you buy a new lamp from GM it will also come with a new harness for that side.

circuit board failure?

multimeter the plug coming back on the harness. with the tail lights on. go from there.

check the ground wires coming off the lights. maby that could be it. happened to a friend of mine

Ive seen rodents chew through wiring under the bed, check all that out.

figured it out. the reason the one bulb i checked didnt look blown is because the one i was comparing it to was blown. all four bulbs were blown. i guess something shortcircuted all the bulbs when the lense got crakced and messed them all up. whoooops. all bulbs are replaced and working fine now. thanks anyway for the help. iiimmmmmm dumb.
