i'm an audiophile (on a budget). I used to be an installer for a couple of years and got a nice setup with Polk and MTX. It used to be Polk DB components in front and 4x6 plates in the rear with three MTX 7500 12"s runnin off of a MTX 7801 amp and a Pioneer 6800 deck. I hit some good numbers at showfest last year (RIP) and took 3rd. Sold the system to get my air ride parts.
Now I've got a nice setup again, a lil better. Polk MOMO 6.5 and 5.25 component systems, MTX TA3404 amp, Eclipse CD7000 HU. I've got two MTX 8500 12"s and wanna do more cuz I remember how badass the bass was when I dynamatted the truck. Subs aren't in yet cuz the amp I want (MTX thunder elite TE1501D) is a lil pricey.
Now that you've read all that I only want to simply ask this.............. who else here is really pushin for a SPL pumpin system?
I know some will criticise for the MTX choice, cuz every audiophile has their brands they stick with. Mine happens to be MTX, would be REaudio otherwise. But besides that..........who still goes for the in you face bass?

heres my boy joes truck 6 jl 12's it was so loud you couldnt breathe while it was on took up the whole ex cab of his dakota after a while it just gets to be a little much the systems for sale as far as i know his name is onelowjoe on here

got a dime with 2-15" L7's goin into with 10.5 cubes tunned to 35 hz powered by a hifonics BXI2006D, kicker components, and 4 8" seleniums and 4 6" seleniums, red top and yellow top, maybe a kinetik too...depends on the bank!

mine is not too bad, havent had it SPL checked, but it slams pretty good
