thats an ok idea but what is he going to do when the seals go out. from my personel experience the lower seals always go bad faster than the top. ive never had a cylinder and i mean all brands cause ive tried them all last longer than 8 months. but mine was also on a daily driven show car so i know that plays a roll in them wearing out.

these parker cylinders are fully rebuildable and i also plan on making something to go around the piston like a boot of some type so rock and shit wont fly up and ding it up

That part of the piston your talking about doesnt have to be protected....it doesnt have any type of seal to it. Open one up and you will see what seals them
