sandblast/media blast

my trucks frame is pretty rusted, i was wondering if anyone has ever done it, and if so, would it be worth paying a body shop to do it, or doing it yourself?

Sand blasting is the best for frames if you are planning on powder coating it. If your painting it media blasting is an option. you CAN sand blast it and then hit it with abrasive sanding wheels to clean up all the etching though. Its alot of work

sand blast would be good for the frame, other media doesnt take off certain things like bondo, rust etc. should pay about 250 for a blast on a bare frame all dissasembled. around 500 for a body
