paint gun

sup guys i have a question i have painted like 10 cars with my spray gun i have a sata 3000 i have been using it for base and clear and never had any ploblem....now im going to paint my personal truck but im putting sealer first the sealer is grey and the base will be white...should i get a gun for sealer? or if i clean my gun good it will be fine?

Itll be fine man just be sure to clean it good.....i like to pull em apart before ever starting to paint and clean very good then between sealer/base then between sealer clear just to be sure its very clean....

ya, and thin the sealer down a lil more than normal to make sure it sprays out and lays down smoothly

kool ...and what you guys think should i run a filter or the gun...im paiting on a booth

if you tend to have moisture problems in the shops air system then i would use a filter right before the gun.

if the air is plumbed properly and you have a decent filter then you shouldn't have a problem. i just use a small sharpe filter (880 i think it is) and have never had a problem with to much moisture in my lines.

never hurts though, if your not sure i would put one on just to be safe.

HONESTLY I JUST USE ONE GUN FOR EVERYTHING EXCEPT PRIMER ITS A SATA 2000 I'VE HAD IT SINCE IT CAME OUT. SEALER TO CLEAR IS WHAT ITS USED FOR. I KEEP IT VERY CLEAN AND HAVE 2 GUN WASHERS 1 FOR THE FIRST CLEAN AND THE 2 FOR THE FINISH OFF. JUST KEEP IT CLEAN AND YOU WONT HAVE A PROBLEM

I GOT TO DEMO ONE WHEN IT CAME TALK ABOUT BEING A HOSER ! IT IS PRETTY BAD ASS ,LAYS DOWN THE MEATTLICS AWSOME

yea... i have a SATA JET 3000 RP.i love this gun it shoots so nice..now im looking into gettin the digital gauge that goes on the gun body Part No. 130146 but i cant find no place on line that sells them only local and here they go for $225

JUST ANOTHER WASTE OF MONEY IF YOU ASK ME.KEEP YOUR 225 TO USE ON YOUR TRUCK AND JUST BUY THE GAUGE THAT GOES ON THE BOTTOM SINCE IT SEEMS LIKE YOU DONT PAINT TO MUCH BY WHAT YOU SAID
