could i just lower the cab mounts on the stock frame?

sure..just dont forget to section up the floor for the frame and raise the tranny tunnel..sorry its not that easy.

ya i kno its not that easy..i was just thinking of another way to do it rather than building a new frame.. what all would i have to do

if you wanna go without building a new frame, you can do it e original sf way. cut the top off your frame, stuff a small size tubing inside ........2x3, lower cab mounts. its more work than that, but you get the idea. youre still gonna need to raise at least the tranny tunnel. good luck!

well you could just do a section type thing. section up the floor just where the rails are, raise the tranny tunnel and lower the mounts. I believe MT did the same thing in a how to a little while back. My opinion though..if youre raising the floor at all you might as well be doing a traditional. otherwise, cut the top off the rails lay some 2x2 in them weld them up snug and lower your mounts and rework the tunnel just the same. both options are a little bit of work..nothin to it but to do it!!!
