I've used a ProTools bender that had that type of die set up and it worked good. The thing about the JD2 bender is you can go past 90 degrees. The only complaint that I would have with the one you showed is it's going to be slow, but you could probably by an air/fluid foot pump and add a cylinder to it.
theres plans on the internet for that same bender, its pretty popular for people to make and it does a good job because it uses the same dies. but ya it doesnt go past 90 and i go past 90 all the time.
I have all Pro-Tools benders in the shop and love them all. If your seriously looking for a nice bender that are farely priced and hold up great after years of daily use I would recommend pro-tools.
Those are kind of a PITA to use. I would buy a Pro-Tools, Hossfield, or JD2 any day over that and make room for it. Or you can build a bender like I did, it stores away pretty well.
