Low beams on my cousins 02 Galant??

My cousin has an '02 Galant that he just purchased, and the low beam headlights are not working. We checked the fuses, and none were blown? what could it be? we havent checked the bulbs, but first off what are the chances of both going out at the same time? and second i dont think it can be the bulbs (although i may be wrong) because there is only one bulb on each side that serves as the lows and highs... highs work just fine, but lows will not come on? any help or suggestions guys? thanx

mitsu has headlamp wiring harnass issues causing the grounds at the bulbs to burn out so check the connections at the back of the lamp mostly when using higher wattage bulbs and yes ive had both bulbs out at the same time usually people dont notice that one are out ,i just had this on a eclipse today i probley fix one a week and mitsu sells a new harness for like 15 each

but ive done a 100 or so this year at my dealer

thanx man... we will def check that out when we get a chance... im assuming i have to pick it up at the dealership or can i get it at autozone?
