Flipping Tie Rods?

My tir rods are snug under the front frame rails when aired out. I can drive this low, so I would like a little gap between them and the frame....

Is it alright to FLIP the tie rod end at the spindle? If so, is it just a simple flip. or is the hole tapered?

the hole for the tie rods are tapered. so you have the bottoms redone

If this is the only thing done you will have major bumpsteer.

Tie rod notches???
