Hi guys, I have a quick question.

Can I run 2 Viair 480's to a single 7 gallon 8 port tank?

I have the compressors and tank already, just wanted to make sure it will be OK or not.

Thanks

yea, that's not a problem, just be sure to use the check valves the compressors came with, they're built into the braided line.

ya it works. suicidedoors.com has wiring diagrams.

remember compressors do pump better when each compressor has its own port in to the storage tank....

OK thanks guys, what else do I need to complete my list that I need to get.

I have the dual 480 pack, 7 gallon 8 port tank, I want to run 8 valves and unsure yet on how many switches?

Then what else do I need?

oh and would both compressors have to run into 1 port some how?

Thanks again you guys for all your help

U got plenty of ports to run your comps to seperate ports.

4 ports=1 for each corner (front left, Front right, etc...)

2 ports=1 for each comp. you can tee off one of those for the pressure switch.

that's only 6 ports out of 8. You can put a Q/D on one of the ports to hook up an air hose to. (fill tires etc.) It came in handy at Scrapefest for changing tires with an impact!

As far as the switches go, what do you want to do? Just front and back? U want a pancake? Your best bet is just get a switchbox thats prewired. All you gotta do is wire the right valve to the switchbox and you can have up to 10 switches.

Don't know where you're getting that Dual pack from bay make sure you have relays and a pressure switch.

i wouldnt tee the psi switch with the comp id do it on its own and away from the compressors as the flow will mess with the switch as the compressor pushs air past it
