front bag mounts on astro

the front was already bagged when i got it..They used a flat plate(bolt on kit)on top of the lower control arm, with the bags all air out it wont go any lower then 6" off the ground, looks like bags are bottom out.. Can i weld plate to bottom of lower control arm? witch should allow the bag to drop about 2-3" lower.. if you have any pics please post... THANKS

just go with cup style mounts. SD sells astro cups.
