k so it looks like most of you have gotten rid of your powersteering is that correct? Also how did you go about extending the wires to the fuse box? What did you do with the black canister that used to sit up by the firewall on the passenger side? what type of intake did you use to place it where its at now?

first no power steering at all. never had a/c either, but thats where the belt drive bolts up to nicely. all the wires in the truck were extended to make it over the wheel wells and to hide all the wires that could be. a buddy whom is an electrician did all that. the black canister to which you are refering to is a charcol canister and you do not need that, it can be removed. and the intake i bought at a local honda shop, its just an aftermarket intake for the truck. any other questions hit me up.

will my truck still pass emmisions if i dont have that canister? I have AC right now so am i going to have to remove it? Sorry so many questions but i want to make sure i get it done right

It all depends where you live weather or not you'll pass with out a charcol canister. In utah you have to have one to pass the visual part of the inspection. but i tossed mine anyway (I have a buddy that passes my truck) and you can keep your a/c. When my truck was first bagged I had a/c, but i took it all out when i did my b/d.

i live in TN they do not make you do a visual inspection but they do hook a think up to your tail pipe and shit. I am getting my inspection done this november. Maybe i should wait until then to take it out. Or i can just leave it registered in iowa where there is no inspection

Ya utar blows but its not as bad as Cali! haha suckers.
If your really worried about it you could just leave it on. I had my canister while i was just bagged. I just slid it up so the braket that holds it on was around the bottom of the can. It stayed clear of my tire up there.
