You don't have to notch the tie rod ends if you flip the tie rods all you have to do it ream out the spindle to flip the tie rods over and bam your done

then flip your ball joints, and raise your uppers to get the geometry kinda black to stockish, just flipping tie rods creates alot of bump steer. Do what I listed eliminates alot of camber, lays out more & ditches bump steer. Really no need for DJM lowers jsut use all your stock shit, just has to be modified though.

i have welded a chevy ball joint upside down on my lower control arm and drilled and retapered the spindle 4 the lower and tie rod ball joints so i was wondering if i had 2 do the same thing 4 the upper arm i swapped from side 2 side but i didnt know if the had 2 be upside down too?? also im looking 2 raise my upper arms? hoping sum people would post a couple of pics of there setup as far as the upper mounts go? any help would be great..i have found a back issue from street trucks from june 04 when deviuos made a long bed 4 door and they raised the arms but didnt flip them .... i have 22s x 10 with a big backspacing so i have some room 2 play with

yes i will post them b4 this weekend i am away from my house right now. i think they were early 90s chevy control arms i cut the end off about 1/2 inch from the ball joint, took my stock arm and removed the ball joint then cut around it as if i was gonna be able 2 slip a new ball joint in if need be, i shaved alot of metal off and it was almost a perfect fit for the peice 2 fit on..and weld i jus made sure both sides were same . then with the tie rod ends i flipped them and notched the frame rails,, i then bought a couple of things from devious 2 allow me 2 drill a hole in the spindle then press these peices into the spindle that will reverse the taper 4 the lower ball joint and tie rod then tack into place . the upper arm doesnt need 1 of those little slugs jus ream it out and flip the arm from side 2 side. has worked so far .. and cut alot of fender out haha.. and u need big wheels 2 do that cuz lca will hit even a 20inch wheel on a turn .. make any sense? kinda a cheap way 2 do it but id rather build it then shell out a grip 4 arms and a new spindle. tell me whut you think i havnt driven on it yet i am working on my rear frame but i heard i oughta jus raise the upper arms.. on top of all that 4 camber?
