I want to hook up 3 10's in my truck powered by one amp. What do I need to look for in an amp though? Single channel, two channel, ect. And how would I wire it up? the subs I am looking at are 350W rms dual 4 Ohm voice coil. Thanks.

i would find an amp that can run all 3 in single channel. If you run 3 single 4ohm voice coil subs it will be around 1.33 ohms. with dual voice coil subs you have a few more options. You could wire each sub in series to be at 8ohm and then put them all together in parallel to be around 2.66 ohms (I think)

so, find an amp that will put out 350w at 2 to 3 ohms?

3 dual 4 ohm voice coil speakers wired series parallel 2.67 ohms use a monoblock amp 1 to 2 ohm stable as high of watt as you can affored.

Check out this site and go to the subwoofer wiring diagrame and enter your # and ohms of your speaker and it will tell you what how to wire it. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.as

you will want a lot more power than 350w, that would be what ONE sub is rated for, so triple that, and you'll be closer.

honestly just get the most wattage you can afford

If you do JL audio slash series amps they are continous power at any ohm load up to 1 ohm. They cost alot but are well worth the money.

There are diagrams out there for it like someone has already mentioned. It shows you 4o 2o dual and single voice coil etc and how to wire them up.
