me and a club member are about to b/d his 85 on 22s. he has 3" spindles. does anybody make tubular arms for these trucks? or do we buy djm arms or do we just hack these arms to lay?

hack the arms, there are some out there but u will be spending 800+ on them. But if you have the $$

I built one that we cut up the front arms and z'd the fame. It works pretty good if you cut the lower buckets out and notch the upper contol arm to go arond the steering arms. We just got in a set of Air Ride Tech. arms and the still hit the steering. I am going to put in some jionts to go around the new arms. Those arms where like $800.

so you need uppers for ball joint angle. and the lowers need to be cut/sectioned to not hit the frame right?

My suburban layed on 24s with factory uppers and lowers, but with dropped spindles...

I will see if I can get you some pics. The truck is down to the frame now Ill try to post them friday when. Its the soonest I can get by the truck.
