new az hangout

ok finally we got the clear to hangout again in tempe under the mill ave bridge. on the north side of the river. everyone come hangout but dont be a dumb f*ck. the parks department says its ok as long as there is no alcohol on site.

i have cleared it with 2 different people with the city of Tempe and they BOTH said it was ok.. It is public property. so they can't really do anything!!

o yeah and thanks josh for posting it up on here, i have been slacking!

so I got to ask, what is wrong with the pavillions on the east side? They have actually been pretty cool with the "minitruckers" over the last year or so. Why do we always have to be finding a new spot when the Pavillions is already there with lots of car people and they don't kick us out until someone does something stupid, which is what gets us kicked out everywhere.

that is a nice spot only problem is it cant hold that many cars. but would be good till it got big.

Yes the pavillions is a known spot but there are not alot of spots for out style of vehicles. they only want us in one area which is liek the last asile or two on the west side of the area.

Don't forget 83rd ave on the west side. I had a great time last weekend.

Which are not even full. And I bet if people acted right for a while we could talk to them and get some more love from them as far as spots we can park.

Think of it like this. Both the imports and bikes have their own spots at the show. Take those same imports and bikes and move them to lot59 and what happened. The imports were trying to race eachother and the bikes were pulling wheelies all over the place. Now move them back to the pavillions and they don't do that. They know that they need to act right in order to stay. They did that and what happened. They got their own rows at the show. What I am saying is, why can't minitruckers do the same thing? Instead what we do no matter where we are is drag all over the place and cruise through blaring our music and causing a bunch of general mayhem.

Just act right and respect the spot and respect the people putting it on and that respect will be reciprocated.

Very true that would be nice having our own spot there at the pavillions. People would just have to do like you said act right and not try to be smartasses to the people running it. That is the issue I see is people thinking they rule the world.
