I have a guy wantin me to bag a 64 impala for him and was wonderin what cups i could use up front and if the back link set up would be fine to use on bags. He has 22s on it right now but he's not wanting to cut the inner fender so he's puttin 14s on it. any help would be great.

When I bagged mine back in the day, I used all S-10 bracketry. It worked great. ART makes brackets for those cars now too.

how much did you have to trim your spring pocket?

You don't have to trim the pockets at all, they are huge. I used all Air Ride Tech stuff, great setup, but it wasn't for the cheap at heart. I am on 2" spindles and it looks like it will be very close, if not laying on 27.5" tires up front with all inner fenders in place. The rear is a couple of inches from laying though Not many though.

Just did my buddies last weekend and I use VT Kustoms brackets, worked great, no cutting, well engineered. But you need to use 2500 all the way around or you have to change up the rear bracket a little. I got some pics in my profile and i cant say for sure but i think the 22s might work. the one i did had some 17 on it and had tons of room when it was laid.

that good i hope the 22 will lay b/c if not he's gonna put it on 14in datons. do you think it'll hop at 200psi 1/2 valves close to the bag.

wont hop I ran it a 200 psi and it lifts good but wont leave the ground and I'm still trying to talk my buddy out of putting it on D's. Yes the slam re6's is what I used in the front and 7's in the rear but like I said I had to motify the lower bag brackets. Not super hard but it didn't slide in like it was intended!

It wont lay frame either without major suspension mods, but its dumped and looks good check my profile. ART also makes a full kit but its pretty spendy, but they say the right quality cant be matched. Front uppers and lower control arms and back tubular trailing arms and pan hard replacement.http://www.ridetech.com/wizard/results.asp?year=1964&make=Chevrolet&model=Impala
