Ok Max, I am building a back half using a stock C4 indy rear. I am want to mount a bag on the top bar. Which bag is going to give me the best ride a Firestone 2600 or a Slam RE7.
Firestone with shocks get more compression that a slam, but slams get more extension, so it equals out, but I like firestone better ride, and it depends on how you displace your air
the compression height on a slame is 2.9. i think firestone is 3.0. but either way i think either will do the job. but for $5 more i think you get a lot more bag.
The Slam bag is going to have a higher spreing rate than a Firestone of equal size. I will always choose the Firestone parts because I like them best, no particular reason, I just like the product.
