Does anyone know if euro style tail lights where ever made for my truck? 79-83 if you don't know. I'm trying to find a set, and had no luck on eBay, which makes me think no. But I'm trying to figure this out. Yes I know euros are gay, I often say it myself, so skip that part and just answer my question please.

Thanks, appreciate it. I'm trying to find out soon though, so I can finally make a decision on what I want to do for tail lights.

spray them with the candy red paint. i dont know if you have to have clear tails to make this look good or stock tails but its seems simple and looks good without a whole lot of modifications.

That was the plan, to spray euros with transparent red. The stock tail lights are pretty ugly, with some odd formations around them, and some black rubber, and 3 lenses.

I have had problems looking for old ford parts and I have hit the junk yard and just played with parts. To see what I can inter change. I not to familiar with your truck but will the lights off an 84 fit? They make euros for that year. Just a thought.

They don't make them, Seth.
However, look at this as an opportunity to learn yet another skill! You could get some red plexi and form it into the shape of your stock tail lenses, but without the frames/ bulges/ etc.
It takes a lot of patience to form it without deforming or clouding the plastic, but it would be a cool project! Plus, your truck's taillight shape lends itself to this mod- it's mostly just one soft bend...
Let us know what you decide to do!

Yeah I might give that a shot Phil.

As far as the 84 lights, they are vastly different in shape. I have some, and figured in order to make them fit, I would have to rebuild the entire back half of the bed from the wheel well back, make a new bodyline around the back, and rebuild the corners and rollpan. I may choose to do so later, but I want to get the bed at least temporarily finished soon.
