you should leave the axle with the leafs still on to keep the axle in the right spot or else you will end up tracking wrong ...like the cars trucks you see driving and they are crab walking"driving stright but the truck is driving at a angle...if it was droped then put the springs back in witht the flipkit and what ever blocks it had to keep it inline where it is spose to go

and if you mount your bars where they meet at the dif you will need to make a bar what goes from tube to tube and over the cast dif to mount the bars there

Congrats. you bought one of the biggest headache mini trucks, that are a pain in the ass to do anything to. I know, I have a bagged 94 ranger with the 4.0.Same shit, I-beams are garbage. All I want to know is are you planning this truck being your dailly driver?? If so I would advise you not to bag it, ESPECIALLY if you dont have a clue what your doing. Im Not trying to be a dick bro, I just know, Ive been in your exact shoes and everyone told me what Im telling you right now. Of course I ignored them and I got in way over my head. Got any more Qs hit it back.

I just want to thank everyone for the help and the help in advance for my later questions.
For the record, this is not my daily ride. I normally drive a mustang. i am not clueless to car/trucks. I have been reading and admiring this lifestyle for a while. When i built my street driven 347cid blown mustang everything I needed was a simple bolt on. the tubeular k member bolted up, the custom 9" I was able to order with brackets installed. there was even a 10 point roll cage kit I was able to just order and fit right in for my brother to weld up. This "minitruck" thing where everything gets fabbed up from scratch is new to me.

ya thats what makes it a mini truck, sh*t being custom. not buying it from some store or something. good luck with ur build bro, rangers are deff a pain to bag. i know cause i have one and my first bagged truck was an s10. a way easier project for a newbie. what size wheel do you plan on running? Do you have it to lay? Do you care about a/c?
