SOCAL FIRES

Well I heard like over 700 homes have been burned down so far or somethin like that. One of my friends was evacuated yesterday. Hope his will be ok.

What started this wildfire? today on the news they said the fire was 0% containted thoughts and prayers are with all of socal

They are saying that some of the fires were started by arson, so if true they need to catch the a-hole that is dooing this shit...

Ya I heard some of it was arson. Then the rest is just from it being hot, windy (santa ana winds), and dry.

It might be that but I am not sure all I know 16 fires is alot of fires in one day...

Fire season in Cali happens every year when the Santa Ana winds start blowing. Months of no rain and dry conditions get us everytime. Luckily the winds are supposed to die down today, which will help the firefighters get a better handle on the fires.....but unfortunately the arsonists start coming out of the woodwork making a bad situation even worse.

This will hopefully be over soon....but then we have to contend with the rainy season starting mud slides on all of the slopes that have had all brush/trees/vegetation burned away.

Anyone in So Cali who wants to join us in a mini truckin caravan to the firefighters base camps to drop off clothing, food & water....see the other post on the fire.

A few of the fires are arson and they have not caught them, but a lot of them are from downed power lines due to extremely high speed winds, up to 108mph gust. My family was evacuated from Ramona CA on Sunday evening when the fire started there they got out and they are down south now. There is never an off fire season in CA it is over 1000 homes and structure and now up 900,000 people in Southern CA that are misplaced from home, Please pray for our friend and families. There are warnings for tornados, hurricanes and things of that such but there is no warning for a fire until it is to late.
