what 302?

which year 302 is best for a swap for a mazda b2200 do i need the tranny as well ?

Depending upon if you want fuel injection or carb. The first year of EFI fuel injection was 86' with the transition into EEC-IV fuel injection system in 89'. The tranny's are harder to match, but avoid the C6 "Metric" transmissions that came out of F150's, they have some problems.

83+ were roller motors I think. that's really the only difference I believe. But I wanna say some foxes werent roller.

i found one outta a 93 5.0 carb mustang,with the tranny cheap ,im trying to find the conversion motor mounts does anyone have a link?

all the fox's were rollers.. the difference is 92 or 93 and up dont have forged pistons, 83-91 do. so if you want performance you can spray 150-200 wet all day on em.
