1996 S10 4.3L Auto Trans
I extended the harness that runs from the ECM, thru the firewall, and plugs in under the dash. I know the harness controls the fuel pump and some stuff in the tranny-if not everything.
Everything is perfect except the truck starts in second instead of first. There were two purple wires and two green wires in the harness, and being the smart guy i am, i chose not to go wire-by-wire and just cut all the wires at once. I could have crossed either, or both, sets of double colors.
I'm just trying to figure out if either the green or purple wires control the 1st gear soleniod in the tranny.
