My girlfriend just ordered me one of the BAD steering wheels off of the FBI website and now I'm hearing horror stories of trying to get them in a timely manner. Anyone else had this problem? I hate to have to wait six months for a steering wheel.

I don't think it'll make a difference where you order it from, but I finally have some good news!
Dan over here spoke with them today. They admitted that they've been extremely backed up, but they're still plugging away at making everyone's wheels. I'm still working to get ETAs on individual orders, but at least we finally have some contact.
I'll post up more when I have better information, but that's where it's at right now.

phil ... i think it does.. i've ordered from you 1 time and i wont again. was told 7 days to get a bag kit to a customer.. 2 weeks after that 7 days went by, i get an email saying bags and comp wont bee shipped.. i got shit about 2 months after i said i was. customer was VERY unhappy.

OK... Yeah, we've run out of parts before. It sucks.

However, in this case we're talking about a steering wheel that is ordered through us. The customer ordered a BAD Wraith with a full billet ring on the 22nd. The PO was sent to BAD on the 22nd. From here, BAD will have to make it and ship it to our customer.I'm trying to avoid any unnecessary delays by getting in contact with BAD with regard to ALL of my pending orders...

So, I get where you're frustrated over some backordered parts, but this is a different situation. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I do what I can to make people happy, but sometimes stuff happens...

If you can accept my apology and give me another chance, I'd be happy to make it up to you. PM me if you're willing to work with me, and maybe you can put a happy post up here!

i sent a e-mail to FBI about a shipping quote over a week ago and received no response

that alone makes me not want to do business

phil you've busted ass on the net trying to regain FBI's stand in the scene. But you need to put half that energy into kicking your warehouse and shop guys around, you guys would be 10 fold better then you are.

I told the guy who emailed me to ship what you had, my customer was very unhappy his money went and he had nothing to show for it, 6-8 weeks later.

i got nothing.. i finally got parts after more and more bitching and waiting.

oh and include on your site, that your big red, doesnt come with a leader hose.. nice surprise!

You're right- I can talk on here about how we're getting better and changing things around, but if you aren't getting your parts then it's just talk.
Things get even worse when you're ordering from overseas. If you underestimate demand for a part, like those Big Unit compressors, your customers end up stuck for a month while they come, literally, on the "slow boat from China". That's been a challenge as we try to grow, but we're working through it...
All I can promise is that I'll do what I can to make the ordering process as smooth as possible. And if we make a mistake, we'll take care of it.

PS- Big Unit compressor description is fixed- I'll have a stainless leader line online tomorrow as an optional part.

I don't know why everyone is always hating on FBI. I've been ordering from them for YEARS and never had a problem with shipping, wrong orders, ANYTHING.

Dan and Phil have always given me top notch customer service. Keep it up guys. As long as you're around, i'll order from ya.
