i have a 94 honda accord and when i hit the brakes 2 stop a loud pop noise accures i mean it sounds like it is comin from the fire wall its so loud. I thought maybe it was the caliper bolt came out so i checked it and every thing was cool so i took off both front tires 2 inspect every thing and the only thing i noticed was the tie rod ends boots were ripped and they seemed a little loose inside the joint. has anyone ever had this problem and could the tierod ends pop that loud.

could be it is your car super low with no camber kit the outer tie rod ends dont like that at all you can check to see when you jack your car up in the front try and wiggle the wheel like your trying to turn it if it wobles like its gonna come off the spindle replace the tierod ends

could be your upper ball joints. my last accord was real low and ruined the upper ball joints, it made a popping sound when u hit the brakes because the nose of the car dives a little bit when u hit the brakes. if you are havin the same problem, it is pretty expensive. to my knowledge, u can only buy the whole upper control arm with the ball joint in it. thats what i had to do, but that was about three years ago!!!!
