im relocating the front shocks, removing torsions, cutting bumpstop mounts off

actually you may not have to notch the control arms.it depends on what size wheel you run and if you make a spacer when you flip the balljoints

I don't like the idea of spacing the balljoints. Flipping them is about as far as I would go.

It won't ride like shit without a sway bar, as long as you have two valves per bag.

im saying without flipping the balljoints it wont lay no matter what size wheel you have, unless you notch the control arm. i believe you can get up to an 18 without having to flip the BJ's.

Flipping them is a good idea though, because it keeps the lower arm about 3/4" lower than it would with them in the stock location. The LCA sitting lower, helps keep the upper bag mount lower, which will give you maybe an extra 3/4" of lift. The way the Mazda arms are made you need the bag mount as low as possible.

thanks for all the info..i dont know yet to keep the sway bar or not. im wanting 20'' wheels bad
