Well i picked up a 93 s10 for pretty cheap while i was at school, and i built a frame for it in my Chasis Fab class. Its not completely done, but pretty much all of it besides the actual cantilever bars. This is my firstserious build towards a mini, so be gentle, lol

Big notch for 22's, and the plug welds are internal gussets to help support each joint

Bottom bag mounts

attachments for the top link bars

crossmember for the notch

still gotta made some tabs and little tidious stuff, and the cantilever of course, then i can mate it to the front clip

Looks good! You must catch hell from everybody else. I see a dragster and a hotrod in those pics, people must wonder whats wrong with you spending so much time on a mini . But Like I said looks guud!

Actually there was another guy that built a full tube chasis for his nissan that was dope as hell, and another guy build a frame for a 50's pontiac that was gonna get bagged. That dragster was a school thing that never got worked on, the hotrod was a fiberglass re pop that was cool. I think kids with mustangs got hated on WAY more than the minitruck guys, especially the guy that had the red one, i wanted to that @%$#er soooo bad haha Dipshit put a cobra IRS in it so "it would hook up at the track better"

Pretty cool lookin.

One thing to consider would have been to mount the bag upside down so the air line doesnt have to move. Like use an upper circle plate as your lower (solid) mount and run your lines out the bottom.

I like the internal gusseting.
