I have a 2002 Dodge ram, and am planning to build a triangulated 4 link for it. My friend said I should use a parallel 4 link. My question is, what rides better, a triangulated 4 link with the bags on lower bars at a little less than 3:1 lift, or a parallel and watts link with the bags right over the axle? What are the pros and cons of each. Cant really find anything on the web explaining this stuff. Thanks.

BOA will ride like shit compared to the bags on lower bars... if you run a parallel 4 link, run a canti lever out back, they are pretty simple to make.

Make sure you run shocks.

Bags over axle will ride worse, no matter what kind of link you are running.

The tri or parallel 4 link question really depends on what your intentions for the truck are (parallels are nice for high HP applications) and also how much room you are working with (ie stock gas tank)

You could turn a parallel 4 link into a lever setup similar to the KP 6 link or SD 5 link and have the benefits of both. Or if you have the room, a tri 4 link with bags on the lowers would work nice too.
