Tweed Carpet????? Grand am dash in first gen S10?

Would tweed work for carpet? Look good or no? Plus how much of a pain is it to put a Grand Am dash in my 1st gen s-dime? Don't want to put the guages from that car in I just want the newer lookin dash. I'm doin after market guages anyhow.

tweed = ugly I've seen a sonoma with a grand am dash, idk about a 1st generation though...see if a 2nd gen. dash fits then you'll know
