cavalier intake manifold on s10

im thinking the throttle cable shouldnt be an issue, mines a right hand drive, but are you guys using the throttle body off the s-10 or the cavy? the one pic im lookin at looks like the s-10...... i believe a few more pics and im of to the junkyard,

if im not mistaken people are using a lokar 36" universal cable from summit. you will most likely have to modify the passenger uca to clear when laid out.

its a direct bolt on. only works for 98+ dimes. the manifold in the pics below are off a 2001 caviler. pics are from a guy on s10forum





I have one on my 94 S-10, direct bolt on, and i used a throttle cable from a 4.3.

So can you use the s10 throttle body?

what cavi years are compatable? i have seen a cavi intake for a 2000 and it looks alittle different than the 1 pictured above. i found one claiming "Cavalier '00-02 2.4L" but like i stated, they look alittle different

i bought a 2000 manifold and it was the wrong one. needs to be 2001, uses stock throttle body and lokar 36 inch throttle cable

Will that interfear with the a/c stuff? I'm stock floored on 18's and 20's and kept my a/c. None of those trucks look like they have a/c so I can't tell if it would hit or not.

alright, this is getting annoying, i had a buddy who runs parts everyday check on a 2001 intake and he told me close to $375. now im surfing ebay and found one that looks exactly like the one in the pics in this thread. the way the tubes are ran,/molded, etc, only the seller is claiming 1998. look at this one and compare with the pictures in this thread, im stumped, anyone??? (sorry 4 the small pic, its the sellers)

they came with a dohc and a sohc design in most years so mabe you need to figure out which one its from
