Civic HB motor swap...

What's up guys, I don't know much about the import scene but enough to know what I'm talking about, anyways, I have a 94' Civic HB DX with a 1.2 liter engine, I was wondering what kind of engine I could swap in there that has some more power...any replies would be greatly appreciated...L8TR

My brother has the 93 Hatch CX which he stuffed a H22 in. He got some special motor mounts and hasport axels then the rest was just modin the harness and cuttin the floor to make room for the cable shifter.

Its got plenty of pickup now with all that torque. The motor is still stock except for intake because out here in Cali smog is a nightmare..

Oh yeah he did get it Ref'd so his door vin now says Honda Civic 2.2l

How about a 426 hemi...

First off you dont have a 1.2 liter. If you know how to fab yourself I would put a z6 or a y8 in it and turbo it. I had a z6 in my crx, turbo, 9 lbs, was alot of fun and only spent about $600 on the whole turbo setup. If you wanna go B series I would put a gsr in it. go to www.honda-tech.com and do some research, been covered a million times on there.

haha a 1.2 that would be even more gutless then the 1.5 you allready have in there. i wouldnt even swap it just boost it.

i would put a jdm gsr in it best swap you could do imo.3500 will get u motor ,trans axles comp and wire harness .pleanty of power and a ton of parts.check out hpiturbo.com its my boys shop dan with the red mazda bodydroped on20s with a s2000 motor

first of i hate when people say "a gsr motor" its stupid its called a b18. and i put a b16 in mine and it would out run every b18 (swaped in a civic or integra)in my area plus you can pick up a jdm b16 for about 1800 now and it includes every thing you need

f/h swap, or k swap screw a b series dont care for em

you can get h/f mounts and axles for 270 then the motor trans depending on if you get h or f from 800(f) to 1750(f) if i did it again i'd do a turbo f instead of all motor h
