how much to shorten rear end for 22's

im putting 22s on my xcab 91 checy its body dropped and bagged....was thinking of shortening the rear end..but as far as i can see is it will only rub when totaly layed...so it will onmy need to be like an inch shorter..seems like a lot of cash for so lil..is there any other options ..what have you guys done and how much have you shortend your rear ends....

depends on width and offset of wheel

any one ever used a camero rear end on a 88 to 98 1500

i have like 1" between my tire and bedside, its all in the wheel offset/backspacing.....
