I have had my EDC for about 2+ years now. I always keep my truck stored away during the cold/winter season. But ever since I got the EDC the clutch freezes up on me during the cold times. Yesterday was only 40 degrees out and the clutch wouldn't spin but the V-belt would. I've toasted about 3 V-belts so far from this. Unplugging the EDC does nothing since that belt has to spin all the time. Does anyone have any advice with this? Is there something that I can spray on it? I'm in the process of actually selling it and this will sure scare the person away since they need it for the winter time also. In case someone asks, I have a 01 S10 V6 with the V-belt design(shitty). Does anyone know of a company that can make me a small serpentine belt design so I can swap it to this?

im not sure wut kinda e.d.c. yer using but i had a york 210 with the "V" belt clutch, after a bout 4-6 months the ?V? belt would stretch and start slipping, not a fleezing problem but nun the less i tried anti-slip spray, a dab of oil, yadee yadee. finally bought a serpentine clutch off ebay and ever since then, its been tits. ask the local shop what they suggest for cold seasons

I got the 209. I don't have problems in the warm its just the cold the clutch likes to freeze up then the belt spins and stretches. I was thinking about the serpentine belt but I'm not sure if this will help either. I would need one custom made short like the v-belt I have now. I need something like a bike chain and sprocket. Now I just need someone to fab something up like that.
