1970 Chevy 3" Drop Problems

I just got a call from a buddy asking if its a common problem to have issues with steering components on the front end after lowering. I don't have any experience with those trucks but I guess its at the alignment shop now and they cant align it cuz the tie rods are hitting something (drag links?) up front. Its a 3" coil drop.

i didnt have any problems with my steering after i bagged it, cant see a static drop being any different. wish i could help a little more

before i bagged my 68, i had it lowered 3" in front 5" out back with just coils. i had no problems whatsoever with any steering components.
