im lookin at buying a front clip and of course, without the full frame, its not going to sit how it should layed out. Do you just level out the control arms, level out the engine crossmember? Whats the deal here? More than likely going to be an s10 clip. Probably a stupid question, but just wanted to make sure.

level out the bottom of the engine crossmemeber, the arms angle back for a reason

cool, so when it gets layed out, it should level out on its own as i believe s10 x-members lay first.

The bottom of your frame rails would need to be set at the same height as the engine crossmember.

right, i understand that part, but getting the front clip leveled out correctly so its not leaning forward or backwards too much is my concern, but I believe James is correct on this. Just making sure.

if you could, measure it w/ the frame level b4 you cut it off..

Depending on the clip you could also find out the amount of rake in degrees that the upper arm mounts should have for anti-dive and then set it to that.
