As far as I know, Autocore used fullsize spindles so that they could run a drop spindle since nobody makes one for those trucks.

1st off why do you want a 22x8.5? you can just get a little wider wheel with a higher offset, i wouldnt switch to an s-10 pattern, a 9 or 9.5 wheel will work with the right offset. i no these trucks inside and out... YOU HAVE TO NARROW YOUR AXLE NO MATTER WHAT ON THESE TRUCKS..

joel, the fullsize pattern is the pattern i have and am trying to get rid of... i needa go 22x8.5s bc i like the ease and affordability of an 8.5" wheel with the s-10 pattern bc there isnt any(other than billet wheels which are very pricey for 22x8.5s). and corey, i wont have to narrow the rear with an 8.5" wheel and i will have way less negative camber up front with 8.5"s too.

Personally dude even with a non-billet wheel from my experience you will still have to narrow the rear end.

From the research I have done I will have to get like a 7"-8" backspace on a 22X8.5 wheel to not rub.

I don't think you will find a 22" chrome wheel with that big of a offset.

in the front you only need a 30 mm offset to tuck...in the rear a 22x8.5 with a 255/30 22 tire with a 30-35mm offset will tuck... there are hundreds that fit that description with the s10 bolt pattern

you're going to need more than that wicked. are you measuring on just getting inside the fender lip? the bed is egg shaped and you have to worry about fitting inside the bedsides, not just the edge of the fender.

Please explain to us all how wheel width is gonna affect negative camber

john i took the measurements and marked where the wheel would sit up inside and i have about a half inch clearence b/t the wheel and bedside. keef, im not a suspension expert im jsu going off the lil i know and what very experienced peoplke tell me. from what i understand with a skinnier wheel you can design the front suspension with less negative camber bc there is less wheel trying to get up in the fender.
