79-83 steering wheel on 92 column?

found a killer ass old steering wheel on a 79-83 toyota today. im wondering if it will fit onto my 92 non tilt column, and if the horn will still wire up. here is a picture of it. it goes with my theme of brushed stainless/aluminum accents.

Yes that will work with your column. They didn't really change anything.

figured so. almost wanted to pull it to try it on another truck there but didnt have tools with me. cool. ill see how much they want for it. and that bezel. they're closed tomorrow, so itll have to be next weekend.

Get the whole truck, it looks to good to scrap. Still got the factory stripes on it even...

is it a short bed? there was a chrome 4wd 79-81 grille on ebay last week that went for over $175.00..... $175.00 for a damn grille! pieces of that truck are worth a fortune on ebay. i got outbid on one of those dash bezels for $45.00 dollars. the junk yard prob wants only a few bucks for it....

Yeah mine is fine, like $15. Its still got the fake wood trim. I have all of that because I swapped to base model inserts.

Yeah some of the factory chrome parts for these trucks are worth some money because they are hard to come by. Last weekend I was at the junkyard gathering parts for a 5-lug swap, and I walked past a gold longbed "Cal Special" 79 Toyota. It had chrome tail light bezels. I have never seen these before, and I know you cannot buy them from any aftermarket company, or Toyota. So I grabbed them.Later while I was pulling an axle, they were sitting on my tool bag, and some guy tried to grab them. So I moved them closer to me, and he came back and offered me $75 to have them, so he could go buy them, then $100 offer. I turned him down, but I thought ti was funny, that he would pay me $100, and then go up front and pay $40 for them.

ill take closer eye of those trucks in the yards. that one is kinda steep on prices, but i haggle them down usually.

I called, they said 35 for it. ill check the other yard for one. they charge 6.50 for them. ill look for other parts on them too. lots of them there. any other parts needed i should check out?

got it done a while back. it messed up my signal cams though. they dont click off by themselves. and the horn doesnt work now, but it rarely did before.
