((((((((((I tried to post this elsewhere on SSM, but it didnt post, sorry if it turns up later and gets posted twice))))))))))))

So I met Max Fish at SEMA this year.

I'm not trying to be a suck up,
or get anything for free,
or ANYTHING like that....
---Ever notice that when there is crap talking going on, every one wants to pipe in,, but when there is something nice to say, no one bothers???

Even though I basicly jumped out of the crowd and surprized Max and Steve, He was way cool, shook my hand, and made my day!
My wife and I also met Boyd Codington, Chip Foose (and crew) among others.. But Max was by far the coolest/ most down to earth person you would ever want to meet. Just wanted to take a sec to thank Max. If any one ever wondered, He is the real deal. and Steve was the quiet guy standing back a step or two try'n to blend in to the background...
any way-- your a credit to the minitruck world man thanks! (even if your not really much of minitrucker.... )

I MET MAX AT RESO LAST YEAR..HE IS ONE OF THE MOST DOWN TO EARTH PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! I CALL HIM FROM TIME TO TIME WITH QUESTIONS AND HE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO ANSWER THEM..WE NEED MORE PEOPLE IN THE SCENE LIKE HIM

dont worry, when he gets foose status he will be an ass, it comes with the territory....

Yea Max is prolly the most down to the earth guy....i run into him at some shows, and even if he is busy he always goes out of his way to say HI........Thanks for being you Max......

Thanks guys! I genuinely enjoy talking with you guys, I'm a total people person and love swaping stories and info with others that are interested in the same things that I am...

And Cris... If I ever blow anyone off because I'm too cool. I want you to kick me in the balls.

Oh and one more thing... The Steve that was following me around SEMA was "shiney Steve" not "the" Steve. "Shiney Steve" works part time with me, but does a good job blending in with the crowd too.

im not even cool enough for people to talk to me, but i will strike a conversation, only to grab the attention of someone, then blow them off like they were bothering me, hoping that someone nearby saw, possibly making them think im someone famous....

I'm not sure what you are talking about, but since he doesn't have anything that is pink with leopard stuff, I'm gonna say "no."

oh.. thought he kinda looked like the guy that had the hot pink x cab toyota parked outside. you know the one that did the paint layout in MT mag.
Maby i should read more of the articles instead of just looking at the pics.
