installing 89 toy taillight fillers...

i just picked up my tailgate/rollpan combo skin and taillight skins....both are grant. the taillight fillers are obviously "trim to fit". my question is how should i weld in the skin?should it be flush with the taillight edges or should i recess the skin a fraction of an inch and let bodyfiller do the job of smoothing it? im assuming flush is the way to go.this may sound like a stupid question but i don't wanna ruin these skins...i could've gotten a sweet hooker for the price of these.

flush as you can, other wise youll have to wipe the whole thing to make it strait.

get it as flush as you can, u will be more pleased with the outcome.
