i'm about to install my first air ride suspension on my truck and would appreciate some pictures of mounting locations for valves, tanks, and compressors. i would also like some advice and comments on what to watch out for or simply avoid. i would like to get this right without the trial and error part. any help, pictures, and ideas will be appreciated.

two questions; 1) what are the advantages/disadvantages of having the valves close to the tank, 2) had any trouble with blitzluft valves? there the same ones i'll be using. nice truck by the way.

one advantage of having valves on the tank is the ride is a little better. it adds volume from the valves to the bags so there is more air to compress. it also is a really easy way to mount your valves if they are screwed in directly.

i guess the only drawback would be speed, but i'm not too concerned about that, so i'll keep this in mind...

heres my new subframe im working on. kind of hard to see but my compressors sit on those mounts on both sides of the fuel cell and the tank is in front of the cell right behind the rear axle.. the valves will go right there on top of the tank as well

another question, does it matter if i put the compressor below the thank? i'm worried about water going from the tank down to the compressor. might this be a problem?

Run water seperators between your compressors and tanks.
