trying to get my truck back together and i extended the 2 rubber lines that are just hose clamped on. but what about that one line that has the fittings.. im guessing something with fuel pressure? would it still work if i got rid of that part of the line and just hose clamped on a longer piece? what have some of you done when you moved to a cell way at the rear of the frame?

no you need the line fittings cus it runs of 30psi something like that you will just blow off the lines when you try to crank it

i just exended mine with clamps, but mine's carb'd so i don't have to worry about the pressure lines. if yours is F.I. then you could go to any hydraulic shop & have a line made for cheap or go with hard lines.

my nissan is EFI and i extended it using EFI hose and plastic male barbs with regular clamps.. held for over a yr, its tore apart now or it'd still be working!

measure your length and go to a hydraulic shop or industrial fitting place and have a braided line made with the fittings on each end that you need. or if you wanna go cheap, you can get compression fittings and run copper or stainless line in between where you cut the factory line. just take the entire fuel line out and take the two end fittings to a place that can make you up a whole new line that way it'll just screw on

no worries. i just extended mine with rubber hose on my yota and have no leaks at all. i just took a piece of hard line and put it inside where i clamped it.

and by the way, mine is EFI
