I tried unplugging the ECU since removing the negative terminal hasn't worked but still no success. Anyone know how to reset the DTC on the ECU? I've made my repairs but the motor won't run right while those are keeping it in safe mode. Thanks!

a sure way to do it is to pull the negative side off the battery, and turn on a light to completely drain all the power thats left in the system. let it sit over night and try it in the morning.

or go to an autozone or a shmucks or crapa, and ask them to reset with a tech2. they shouldn't charge you anything. but i don't know what your ride is.

Take out the EFI fuse thing in the fuse block under the hood and leave it out for a minute or so.

Aight guys, I preciate the advice. I'll try them all if the drain thing doesn't work. Anyone know why disconnecting the ECU didn't work?
Thanks again!
