wuts up fellas? arite so im in a dilemma... my toyota is ready to have the windshield reinstalled in it.... i have a 93 std. cab with glue in windshield and moldings... i am wanting to put a gasket style windshield in, they made the gasket style from 89-91 and the molding style from 92-95, when the toyota dealership looks up the info, it doesnt list the gasket for my year toyota, but it does for 89-91, now i know these cabs are IDENTICAL... but the toyota parts guys seem to want to tell me there is no way they are interchangable, i call bullshit, but another problem is, the glass itself is a different part number from 89-91 to 92-95... SO... i need to know if any of you have any idea what can be done here... should i just get the 89-91 molding? or will i need that year glass too ? i already have a brand new windshield for 92-95 but can exchange it if i need to... help help help i need this in before reso ! thanx in adavance!

Swap your glass and get the rubber gasket for the 91 and it will work.

i'm sure you'll need the other shield 2 fit in the gasket.

as long as you are sure the cabs are the SAME at the windshield. it might work...diff part #'s could just mean that one has a mirror button and the other dosen't..or it could mean different GLASS altogether. best bet is to go to your local glass shop ( diamond triumph auto glass) an have a looks c at both pieces of glass. that might help . i do glass on the side now and work for a bodyshop , but i used to work @ diamond triuph suto glass in north carolina...hope this helps...
