Balljoints are angle up from the factory. Angling the plate down helps with up travel in the suspension.

I know that, but I thought brandon was only running 18's on the dime. So I was asking him why, b/c when you dont need the extra angle, you limit your lift, but you can go lower with the plates pointed downward.

3* lays 20's.. i guess since you're going 5*, you're going 22's?

i normally take and lay out the c arm on my steel table and mark the center line of every thing and tack the rod ends in place and start bending tubing and maching balljoint plates
